»Only if there are angels in your head will you ever, possibly, see one« (Mary Oliver, The World I Live In)
»She believed in angels, and because she believed in them, they existed.« (Clarice Lispector in Hour of the Star, p. 31)An angel does not necessarily have to be heavenly, nor does it have to be a religious messenger, but I do find comfort in the thought that this world has to offer sensations that feel transcendental, and that there are moments that fill you with wonder, realization, and love. I like to think that if we believe in something, it is possible to become true.
